Teens OK After Parents' Murder/Suicide
"HOUSTON, TX – A man and his wife were found dead by their teenage children in northeast Harris County Monday evening, and investigators were working to determine what sparked the shooting.
"Deputies said the deaths appeared to be a murder-suicide.
"It happened in the 12300 block of Robert E. Lee at C.E. King Parkway in northeast Harris County.
"Around 9:30 p.m., Harris County deputies responded to a disturbance call at the victims’ home. When the officers arrived, they said they found a 13-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son outside the home, claiming their dad shot their mom.
"Deputies entered the home and found the parents lying dead in the kitchen.
"Deputies said they believe the husband shot his wife, then turned the gun on himself.
"Investigators said the man and woman were having an argument before the shooting, but it wasn’t clear what they were fighting about.
"The identities of the victims were not released."
