"WINTERS, CA - Two people were killed and Solano County investigators were trying to piece together the circumstances following a suspected murder-suicide at a home outside Winters Friday night, Solano County authorities said.

"The call to 911 came in around 9:20 p.m. Friday after the incident at the home on the 4700 block of Thorpe Road south of Winters, Solano County Sheriff's spokeswoman Paula Toynbee said.

"Toynbee said a 24-year-old man called police to tell officers that his father had shot his friend, then turned the gun on himself."
