Police Arrive Too Late

"Frederick, OK - Frederick Police were making a welfare check and say they discovered a murder-suicide Sunday morning. It was at a home in the 300 block of 13th Street where investigators say 41-year old Deyone Miller shot and killed his wife, 35-year old Laterria Miller, before turning the gun on himself. Police got a call from Laterria's father around 11 o'clock Sunday morning. They said he was worried about the couple. By the time police arrived at the couple's home, both were already dead.

"The couple had been together for several years. They had children ranging from ages 4 to 18. Those close to the family said the couple often fought and took breaks apart. Police said Laterria had been gone for 2 months when she returned just last night, only to die less than a day later."
