Slasher's Cause Of Death Unknown
"Wise, TX - The deaths of two brothers found Monday inside their family’s Wise County home are being investigated as a probable murder-suicide, according to a Wise County Sheriff’s Office press release.
"Investigators believe Jason Stanford, 33, inflicted the apparent fatal stab wound to his brother, 27-year-old, Jeremy Stanford, during an altercation inside the home.
"There were no obvious signs, however, on the cause of death of Jason Stanford, according to a press release by the Wise County Sheriff’s Office.
"Justice of the Peace Terri Johnson ordered autopsies done on both men. Authorities had not released results of those autopsies as of this morning.
"The bodies were found late Monday after a friend of Jason Stanford called the sheriff’s office , concerned she could not get a hold of him on the phone.
"The press release states Deputy Travis Waddell went to the family’s home in the 3800 block of North U.S. Highway 287 where he discovered blood on the front porch and, subsequently, the two brothers’ bodies inside."
