Mother And Daughter Found Dead

"SHERWOOD, AR — Police in Sherwood say a mother and her 6-year-old daughter were found dead in their home, the result of what was likely a murder-suicide.

"Authorities were called Wednesday afternoon to the home in a subdivision near Arkansas 107 and found the bodies of 35-year-old Shingo Eyman and her 6-year-old daughter, Lillian Abigail Eyman.

"Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper says it appears that Eyman shot her daughter and then herself.

"Sherwood police say there was no indication of a break-in at the home or that anyone else was involved.

"Officials say the Eymans moved into the home about four months ago. Neighbors said they didn't know the mother and daughter."
