Suspicious Deaths May Be Murder-Suicide
"CONNELLSVILLE, PA ― Police investigating the suspicious deaths of a man and woman found in separate Connellsville homes hours apart yesterday are now investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
"A family member called police after finding the body of Priscilla Harris, 58, inside her Eighth Street home around 6pm Monday.
"Investigators have said that she appeared to have been beaten, but an autopsy would be performed to determine exactly how she died.
"About six hours earlier, police found the body of James Claybourne, 63, inside a nearby home on McCormick Avenue.
"Police have said that both deaths appeared to be suspicious; but the detective in charge now tells KDKA that Priscilla Harris was the victim of murder.
"According to authorities, Harris and Claybourne had been dating and he had just been released from a halfway house.
"Police have not elaborated any further on the relationship or how the couple died."
