Double Stabbing Was Murder/Suicide
"SIMPSONVILLE, SC - Simpsonville police say they have ruled that a fatal double stabbing at a gated Simpsonville apartment complex was a murder-suicide.
"Christopher J. Villafane, 39, 15206 Holly Hock Drive [address not found], died after he was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital, said Greenville County Deputy Coroner Kent Dill.
"Police are alleging that he stabbed his girlfriend, 23-year-old Rachel Sara Fielding, multiple times. She was pronounced dead in an apartment that the engaged couple shared, Dill said.
"Police responded to the apartment at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday after a 911 call and found Fielding dead, said Police Lt. Ralph Bobo. She suffered at least six fatal stab wounds, he said.
"Villafane also died from stab wounds, Dill said.
"Dill said Fielding died between mid-morning and noon Wednesday. Police say it appears that Villafane waited until the afternoon to stab himself, Bobo said."

ReplyDeleteChris is innocent and if you are going to hate on someone like him let god be with you because you need help. the news articles arent true and when the TRUE story comes out then we will be contacting lawyers for Deflamation of Character on the News Articles. People who think they are so cool by hating on someone online i was close to and had let go. you are a heartless person. rachel and chris were both amazing people. we don;t know what has happened, yea chris is a male while rachel is a female you dont know who did it? ever heard of the show snapped? WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

DeleteI know for a fact that he did I knew both of them and knew they didn’t have a good relationship she was trying to leave him because she couldn’t deal with it anymore. He was off every time i met him and controlled every one of her moves. We all miss our happy eyes she was a good and kind hearted women and didn’t deserve this so kindly fucking off with you b.s she doesn’t deserve this!
I think people should mind their own business! The case is not yet closed why not wait until then? Also he has a mother father and who knows maybe even children. What did his kids do why hurt them? Let god judge him and decide his faith? It is sad how a couple died and there families all are equally suffering it is so sad
ReplyDeleteMy sympathy's go out to both family's.I think thtat if this case is still under investigation,I feel that the cororner and chief of police did not give this a fair amount of time the cororner's report and police report say its under investigation but they are quick to say that he did this.If they are saying he did this why is it still under investigation? And not case solved!!! May God bless this couple!!!! May the law take their time befor they release false details to the media.Like the police said "It sells news papers and they got more viewers to watch!! How pathetic is that!!!

ReplyDeletecase was closed on the part he played in it witch was he did it all that the news said. now they are going to look at who he called in those 7hrs before he called 911. that person better watch out for a knock on the door.

the guy was a huge POS and i feel sorry for his fam as they have to deal with the truth of what there son,uncle,bother,friend did.
ReplyDeleteit dose not help when you have ppl saying the news is wrong and tell there own story of what happen the only ppl who know why he did it is chris & god the cops just proved what he did. also who he talked to in those 7hrs.
How do you stab yourself 3 times on the top of your head??? Chris was not the one with the jealousy issues here. Case is not closed, only for people with closed minds. Ask the police, this investigation is still ongoing.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are a person who is as delusionary as christopher villafane (or as we all use to call him on and off set) aka Mr. Cellophane.... then you can't put his issues off to the side. That guys was INDEED a liar... and he DEF. was an abusive POS. I feel terrible, having worked with both rachel and chris, that rachel had to suffer that kind of end. She was an angel from what i knew... but i tell you all now.... christopher trying to cover up his actions by creating stab wounds on his own person... NOT SURPRISING. That man would've eaten seals the rest of his life if he thought he was a shark... and he'd believe he was the biggest and baddest one in the sea. Good riddens to villafane... but my condolences to both families, it's not chris' family's fault that he was insane... Rachel deserved better... i know SHE's in a better place.
ReplyDeleteI knew this Christopher for a short period of time. I definitely feel there was some underlying mental illness he had, that many were unaware of. God bless both families what a tradegy.
