Suspicious Deaths May Be Murder-Suicide
"LUCAS, TX — The Collin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of two men whose bodies were found Monday morning in the 2300 block of Country Club Road in Lucas.
"A woman called the sheriff's office shortly before 9 a.m. to report that a man's body was in the living room at the residence.
"Deputies arrived and found the body of a 72-year-old man in the living room and also located the body of a 44-year-old man outside the home near a burn barrel.
"Lt. John Norton of the Collin County Sheriff's Office said that the older man possibly died of a blunt force to his head and that the younger man may have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
"Norton said the younger man is believed to be the stepson of the older man.
"Weapons were recovered from the scene, Norton said."
