Woman In Grave Condition After Attempted Murder/Suicide
"MIDWEST CITY, OK — Midwest City police are investigating an attempted homicide Saturday morning, according to Chief of Police Brandon Clabes.
"A 44-year-old woman was shot multiple times during a domestic disturbance. The man who wounded her then committed suicide, shooting himself in the head, Clabes said.
"The woman's 18-year-old daughter witnessed the shooting and said the man turned the gun on her but did not fire. She was able to run from the house to a neighbor's home to call police.
"The incident happened in the 300 block of Mimosa, just north of Tinker Air Force Base. Clabes said the man and woman were not married, but both lived in the home.
"The man was 45 years old, according to police.
"The woman was taken to a local hospital in grave condition. No names have been released."
