Woman Kills Husband, Dogs

"BROKEN ARROW, OK — A call to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Tuesday led authorities to an apparent murder suicide.

"Authorities say a 53-year-old woman shot and killed her 50-year-old husband, then herself.

"Sheriff deputies say a person called 911 Tuesday and told them to dispatch a coroner to the 21000 block of East 106th Street South and then hung up.

"When a deputy arrived at the home, he found the woman dead with one gunshot wound to the head, and the man's body slumped over a computer chair with three gunshot wounds in the back.

"Deputies also found two dogs that had been shot and killed.

"Neighbors told investigators they didn't hear any gunshots. They said the couple usually kept to themselves and were in the process of getting a divorce.

"The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office said the man appeared to have been dead awhile before the wife shot herself.

"The identities of the two victims have not been released."
