Parents Found Dead, Child Unharmed

"BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Shelby County coroner says a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman found dead in a Birmingham apartment were the victims of an apparent murder-suicide.

"Coroner Diana New said Tuesday that Marquavious Anderson and Linh Quyet died from gunshot wounds in the apartment where they lived.

"Shelby County deputies responded to a call of shots fired around 5 p.m. Monday and found the bodies of the pair. Deputies also found a young child unharmed in the apartment.

"The investigation is continuing."
