SWAT Team Finds Bodies Of Man, Wife

"TROTWOOD, OH — Trotwood police are investigating what preliminary investigations reveal to be a murder-suicide.

"Officers responded to the home in the 5000 block of Rucks Road after receiving reports of shots fired in the neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

"On scene investigators learned a man shot his wife in front of their children inside the house. According to police, the children then ran to a neighbors house for help.

"Montgomery County SWAT was called to assist. When members made entry into the house they found the husband and wife with gun shot wounds to the head.

"The children were not injured.

"The events leading up to the shooting are unclear.

"The incident remains under investigation."
