Two Dead In Colorado Nursing Home Shooting

"WHEAT RIDGE, CO — Police said a murder-suicide happened at a Wheat Ridge nursing home on Sunday evening.

"Wheat Ridge police spokeswoman Lisa Spinder said the shooting happened inside Wheatridge Manor Care Center at 2920 Fenton St.

"A man walked into the nursing home, where his wife was a resident, shot her and then turned the gun on himself, Spinder said.

"The husband and wife were dead on arrival at a local hospital, she said. The couple's names were not released Sunday night.

"The investigation is ongoing."
