A Tale Of Two Cities
"Madison, WI - Autopsies are scheduled Wednesday for the two victims in what’s being investigated as a murder-suicide Tuesday in McFarland and Madison.
"Robert J. Beaulieu, 61, was found at a South Side Madison apartment, and Shereen C. Beaulieu, 51, was found in a McFarland apartment.
"They were married but living separately during divorce proceedings, according to Madison police.
"Madison police were called shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday by a citizen reporting a shot being fired in the 1100 block of Moorland Road in the Knob Hill apartments. Police spokesman Joel DeSpain said that upon arrival, police found a man with a gunshot wound. The man apparently died a short time later at a local hospital.
"Madison police contacted McFarland police during the investigation. Officers were trying to reach the next of kin when the woman’s body was found, said McFarland Police Chief Gregory Leck. The woman had been shot in the head, Leck said.
"During a search of the Madison address this afternoon, a gun was recovered that police believe was used in the murder-suicide, Leck said."

What is the point of this blog? This is disgusting.
ReplyDeleteOn average, two to four murder-suicides happen per day in the U.S. There is very little anyone can do to change that. It is part of the reality of human experience, it's been with us for centuries, and it's not going away.
ReplyDeleteThese stories are reported with as little editorialization as possible. They are what they are.
