Victims "Involved In A Relationship"

"BELMONT, NC – Police said a murder-suicide at an apartment complex on Castleton Court in Gaston County left two people dead. They said the victims, 28-year-old Amanda Leigh Caskey and 30-year-old Terry Anthony Campbell, were involved in a relationship.

"911 dispatchers received a call around 10:30 Friday night that someone had been shot.

"Once on scene, police found two people with gunshot wounds inside the apartment.

"They said 28-year-old Amanda Leigh Caskey died inside the apartment, and her boyfriend, 30-year-old Terry Anthony Campbell, was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.

"Gaston County police believe Campbell shot Caskey and then turned the weapon on himself.

"This is the second domestic related homicide in Gaston County in the past month."
