Apparent Murder/Suicide Claims Elderly Pair

"BLOOMINGDALE, IL — For the second time in as many weeks [see here], Bloomingdale police are investigating a possible murder/suicide.

"About noon Monday police responded to a death investigation at a townhome in the 100 block of Springbrook Drive. Upon arrival, officers found dead an 88-year-old woman and 58-year-old man in what appeared to be a murder/suicide.

"Police are awaiting both autopsy and toxicology reports.

"The victims’ names are not being released at this time nor their cause of death.

"Police said it appears to be a mother and son."
