Elderly Couple Found Dead
"MCKEESPORT, PA — Carbon monoxide poisoning is suspected in the death of an elderly McKeesport couple.
"An autopsy for Leonard and Dolores Koltiska, who were both 85, is planned today to determine the cause and manner of death.
"The couple was found in their home on 1503 Wesley Street on Friday at about 11:30 a.m.
"The husband was located inside a car that had its motor running inside an attached, enclosed garage. He was pronounced dead at 11:36 a.m. at the home, according to a spokesman from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office.
"The wife was located in an upstairs bedroom. She had a pulse and was taken to UPMC McKeesport, where she later died at 12:03 p.m.
"McKeesport police Chief Bryan Washowich said a visiting Meals on Wheels worker called police after arriving at the home and noticing the running vehicle. Washowich said it's believed the car had been running for quite a while.
"Washowich said the husband was in the car with the door closed and was wearing a coat.
"Police and the county Medical Examiner's office are continuing to investigate the deaths."

Tough call on this one. Had they both been in the car I would have passed on this story completely. Since the wife died in a different room, there is still cause for doubt. Autopsy results may or may not help decide this one.
