Appearances Indicate Attempted Murder/Suicide

"FOREST, IN — Clinton County authorities are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide.

"According to the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, as officers executed a search warrant at a residence they found two people in separate parts of the home, both with gunshot wounds.

"A Clinton County detective tells us they found an adult male dead in a home at 6174 County Road 930 East near Forest, Indiana and an adult female who was injured but is still alive. She was transported to a nearby hospital. Investigators have not notified family members so they are not releasing the names. Forest is in the northeast corner of Clinton County, just southwest of Russiaville.

"The sheriff's department is still investigating the case."
