Bodies Found In Storage Unit
"HOUSTON, TX — A man fatally shot his girlfriend before turning the weapon on himself Friday evening at a southwest Houston storage unit, police said.
"Officers were called to the scene at 6250 Westward near Hillcroft about 6:45 p.m.
"The couple's identities were not immediately available. The man used the storage unit as a mechanic's shop, Houston Police Department spokesman John Cannon said Saturday.
"`He had shot her one time and then shot himself,` Cannon said. `Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Initial investigation indicated there were no signs of a struggle.`
"Officers talked to people who knew the couple and said they were in a dating relationship, he said."
