"HOMESTEAD, FL — Investigators said Wednesday that the man and woman found in a home near Homestead on Monday died of a domestic murder-suicide."Patricia Nieto and Fernando I. Martinez, II were found at 13433 SW 289th Terrace on Monday night. The two died from stab wounds, according to Miami-Dade police. The bodies were discovered when Martinez’s father went to the home to look for his son who had not shown up at work.
"Sonia Cason, who lives on the same street, described the couple as being in their 30s.
"`They were planning to get married soon,` she said. `I can’t believe it. They were a nice couple.`"
