Wife Survives Multiple Gunshot Wounds
"SPRING, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a Woodlands resident shot his wife multiple times before turning the gun on himself.
"Billy Terry, 60, shot his wife Linda Terry, 59, multiple times in their home on Degas Park Dr. in Sterling Ridge around 8 p.m. Tuesday night. Authorities forced their way into the home and found Linda in the master bedroom and Billy Terry dead in another bedroom due to a single gunshot wound to the chest. His wife, Linda, was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
"Linda, a nurse, recently accepted a new job, but the sheriff's office said Billy had been unemployed for some time.
"As of Wednesday morning, no new details about the shooting had been released from the sheriff's office, but the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit, Crime Lab, Texas Rangers and District Attorney's Office are investigating. It is thought the incident was an attempted homicide/suicide."
