"I Sure Wasn't Expecting That"
"VISALIA, CA — A man and woman found dead early Monday in a northwest Visalia house are the victims of a murder-suicide, said Visalia Police Sgt. Gary Williams.
"Kathryn Bradshaw, 26, lived in the house on the 6300 block of West Thompson Avenue near North Roeben Street and West Ferguson Avenue. The other victim, Isaias Corona, 40, and Bradshaw were in a dating relationship, according to police.
"According to police Corona shot Bradshaw with a shotgun while she was in the bathroom adjacent to her bedroom before turning the gun on himself.
"A unnamed male relative who lives with the woman discovered the bodies and called police at 6:51 a.m., he said.
"With their arms around each other, the woman's father and grandfather hugged each other on the sidewalk in front of the house. The father, David Bradshaw, was in tears.
"`It's a tragedy,` he said.
"Howard Bradshaw, the grandfather, comforted his son.
"`I sure wasn't expecting that,` Howard Bradshaw said."
