Ongoing Investigation Points To Murder/Suicide

"CARROLLTON, TX — A Carrollton man is dead and his wife has serious injuries after a double shooting at their home, according to police.

"47-year-old Terri Mohr called 911 shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday night to report a domestic disturbance with her husband, 43-year-old Glenn Mohr, according to Carrollton police public information officer Jon Stovall.

"When officers arrived at their home in the 2000 block of Clermont Court, they found Glenn Mohr dead of a gunshot wound, and Terri Mohr injured, but alive.

"She was rushed to a nearby hospital by the Carrollton Fire Department.

"So far, police believe that Glenn shot his wife first, then turned the gun on himself.

"The investigation is ongoing."

  1. This has the characteristics of a murder/attempted suicide, rather than a suicide/attempted murder.

I hope the CPD does a proper and thorough investigation of the wife in this case.

  3. My thoughts are that if you want to commit a murder/suicide, that you would shoot the other and make sure they are dead before you would shoot yourself. I understand that he was shot in the head and her in the stomach. Isn't it possible that she shot him and then shot herself in a manner that she could survive?
