Long-Term Relationship Ends Abruptly

"WILLOWBROOK, IL — An apparent murder-suicide in an unincorporated area near Willowbrook that happened late Thursday night is under investigation by the DuPage County Sheriff’s department.

"In a news release, spokeswoman Dawn Domrose said officers responded to reports of gunshots on the 10S400 block of Echo Lane. The reports said that a man had shot a woman.

"When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds. Domrose said the two were in a long-term dating relationship.

"No further information has been released as authorities attempt to contact family."
