"West Virginia State Police said the suspect, Shayne Riggleman, 22, of Morgantown left the home in one of the victim's vehicles and traveled to Fairchance, Pennsylvania, where he alllegedly ran over an elderly woman and took off. Her condition is currently not known.

"West Virginia State Police said Riggleman then traveled to Roane County, WV, where they say he randomly shot a gas station attendant, Donald Nichols, in the back of the neck. Nichols remains in critical condition, but is expected to make a full recovery.
