Shooter And Victim End Up In Hospital

"LEBANON, PA — Police said a Lebanon man shot his former girlfriend several times before turning the gun on himself.

"Both the accused shooter and the victim were under medical care at a local hospital.

"Lebanon police Chief Daniel Wright said 38-year-old Angel Rosa shot at 22-year-old Katherine SanJuan-Escobar several times in front of a home in the 1100 block of Walnut Street before shooting himself in the neck Sunday night.

"Rosa fled the scene and was found about an hour-and-a-half later at a Cumberland Street motel, Wright said. He also had self-inflicted cuts, but police said the injuries appeared to be superficial.

"Police said SanJuan-Escobar was able to speak and identified Rosa as the person who shot her. The gun was recovered at the scene.

"Wright said the investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending against Rosa."
