Two Found Dead In Home

"DYER, IN — Dyer Police and the Lake County Crime Lab are investigating an apparent murder-suicide Friday in the 1400 block of 215th Street.

"The spokesman for the Lake County Coroner’s office said the office was called to a home at 1450 215th St. in Dyer at about 9 p.m. Friday, where they found two people dead from gunshot wounds.

"Mayumi Hashimoto, 44, who lived at the address, sustained a gunshot wound to the head. A second individual, David Henry, 45, also of the same address, was also dead from a gunshot wound to the head, the spokesman said.

"Henry’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted, he said."
