"WILMINGTON, OH — The death of a 24-year-old woman is being investigated as a homicide and her live-in boyfriend who is suspected of stabbing her then slit his own throat and is hospitalized.
"Christina Hill died Tuesday morning of injuries she received when she was stabbed at a residence at 695 Fife Ave., Wilmington, said Officer Duane Weyand, assistant chief of the Wilmington Police Department.
"Weyand said officers `immediately began first aid and the Wilmington Life Squad arrived moments later and continued to provide life-saving techniques.`
"The victim was transported to Clinton Memorial Hospital where she died of her injuries.
"Police report their investigation indicates the homicide is related to domestic violence. Hill’s live-in boyfriend, Paciano Sanchez, 31, is alleged to have stabbed her.
"While officers were on scene they began a search of the immediate area and report that they located Sanchez on the ground behind a vehicle.
"Sanchez had a self-inflicted knife wound to his neck. He was transported to Clinton Memorial Hospital. He was transferred to a nearby hospital where he is in custody for the death of Christina Hill.
"Police said the incident is not related to Wilmington College, which is located across the street.
"Christina Hill is survived by five children, the oldest being age 6."
