Investigators Think Domestic Dispute Led To Deaths
"WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN — Investigators suspect a domestic dispute may have led to the deaths of two people in rural west Tennessee.
"On Sunday Sept. 4, deputies from the Weakley County Sheriff's Department responded to 755 Woods Road (between Gleason and McKenzie Tenn.) after receiving a report of someone being shot.
"When deputies arrived they found 42-year-old Devnee Renee Reeder and 35-year-old Matt David Bennett both deceased from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe that some sort of domestic dispute led Mr. Bennett to shoot Ms. Reeder before shooting himself. Both bodies were sent to the forensic lab in Memphis for autopsy.
"The investigation is ongoing."
