Two Dead After Early Morning Domestic Incident

"MEADVILLE, PA — Meadville Police are investigating an early morning homicide-suicide at a duplex on Baldwin Street.

"Police were called to the Nobilee R. Forro residence at 6501/2 Baldwin St. at 3:18 a.m. after reports of shots being fired, according to Thomas Liscinski, assistant chief of Meadville Police.

"When police arrived at the apartment they found Forro, 31, who was fatally shot once in the head by Michael D. Trout, 26, of Meadville, Liscinski said.

"Officers also found Trout lying around the corner inside the apartment home, with a gunshot wound to his head and still alive, Liscinski said. Trout was rushed to Meadville Medical Center where he passed away, police said.

"Liscinski said a gun was recovered at the scene and there had been at least three shots fired.

"A preliminary investigation by officers found there was a domestic earlier between the couple.

"Police said Trout went to her [Forro's] residence and shot out the glass in her front door to gain entry. Trout then shot Forro, police said. Just around the corner from her he shot himself, police said.

"The investigation is continuing."
