"PORT ST LUCIE, FL — Port St Lucie police say they received a 911 call at 1:15 a.m. Saturday morning from a man who alleged to have killed his wife and threatened to shoot himself."Police say when they arrived at 1450 SW Kamchatka Avenue, they noticed the front door was open. Once inside, they say they found a white male dead behind the door and white female dead in a back bedroom.
"Police say the 21 year old female sustained a gunshot to the head and it is believed the 78 year old male turned the gun on himself after setting the residence on fire.
"The names of the victim and suspect are not being released at this time as next of kin have not been identified/notified.
"Police are still investigating."
