Botched Murder/Suicide Hospitalizes Two

"CYPRESS, TX — A man and a woman were hospitalized following an attempted murder-suicide in northwest Harris County Wednesday morning, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.

"Deputies said a man shot a woman in the chest at the Central Park Regency apartments, located in the 11300 block of Regency Green, around 10 a.m.

"After shooting the woman, deputies said the man shot himself in the head.

"Cypress Creek EMS transported both victims to Ben Taub Hospital. Their conditions were not known.

"Investigators are trying to determine what led to the shootings."
