"ELMHURST, IL - Elmhurst police believe a man shot and wounded his estranged wife at her home in the western suburb this morning before killing himself."Shortly after 7 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of South Hillside Avenue and found a 52-year-old woman shot in her face.
"Hani A. Hennein, the woman's estranged husband, was dead on the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
"Julia M. Hennein, was takento Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, where she was undergoing surgery.
"Two teens were in the home at the time of the shooting, but were not hurt.
"Police said Hani Hennein was arrested for domestic battery on May 29."
