"LEHI, UT — A woman is dead and a man was flown to the hospital in 'extreme critical' condition after a double shooting Tuesday night.

"Police received a call shortly before 9 p.m. about an argument and gunshots heard from a residence located at 1891 S. 575 West. When police arrived, they found a woman dead from a gunshot wound to the head, sitting in the driver's side of a Jeep in the driveway.

"Police say they found the woman's husband sitting in the passenger side of the vehicle with a gunshot to the head, but alive.

"The man, who police say is 27 years old, was flown to a local hospital and is in extreme critical condition.

"When asked about the possibility of a murder-suicide, Lehi Police Lt. Darren Paul said, `It's still to early to say exactly what it is.`

"Police say the woman who reported the gunshots is the man's sister. Investigators think the man had been staying at the house, but are unsure if he is the owner."
