Visitor Finds Bodies Of Couple

"ACAMPO, CA — Two people were found dead in Acampo on Wednesday night in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department.

"Department spokesman Deputy Les Garcia said a husband and wife in their mid-40s were found dead in the 19000 block of Dustin Road. The couple was discovered by another person who entered the house around 7:30 p.m. and called 911, Garcia said.

"The Sheriff’s department was still investigating the matter Wednesday night. Garcia declined to answer whether a firearm was involved, citing the pending investigation.

"No other information was immediately available."
