"JACKSONVILLE, FL — A man and woman found dead in a locked Jacksonville apartment Sunday may have died in a murder-suicide, police said."Names of the victims have not been released because next of kin had not been notified following the discovery about 4:50 p.m. when police broke into the apartment at 4570 Park Street, just west of Roosevelt Boulevard.
"The pair had not been seen for four to seven days and decomposition had begun, said homicide Sgt. Lonnie Mills of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. He said the woman had been ill, possibly with cancer.
"Police were called by the landlord because they had not been seen."
