Woman Released From Hospital After Attempted Murder/Suicide

"INDIAN WELLS, CA — A man shot his girlfriend while he committed suicide this morning in Indian Wells, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's department.

"Sheriff's deputies found the dead man about 2:50 a.m. in the 75-600 block of Vista Del Rey.

"The woman was treated at a local hospital and later released, according to the sheriff's department.

"Investigators have not released the name of the man or woman.

"Anyone with information may call the sheriff's department."
