Couple Had Been Having Problems

"FAIRFIELD TWP, OH — Two people are dead after what Fairfield Twp. police said was a murder-suicide.

"According to police, Dale Kramer, 58, shot and killed his wife, Melissa Kramer, 41, before he shot and killed himself at their residence on 6377 Georgetown Road.

"The Fairfield Twp. Police Dept. received a call Monday, Sept. 27 from family members who were concerned after not hearing from one of the deceased for several days. An officer who went to check on the couple reported signs of forced entry to the couple’s home, and the man and woman were found dead in the bedroom, both with gunshot wounds.

"Family members reported the couple had been having problems. In 2005, police responded to the address involving a dispute between Melissa Kramer, Dale Kramer, and Dale Kramer’s ex-wife. Records don’t indicate any recent domestic issues, according to a news release.

"The incident is under investigation."

  1. Dale Kramer was not an abusive man. Melissa had mental issues and spent time in a mental hospital. She had just as much involvement as him. She actually was arrested for abusing Dale In another state and spent the night in prison. She was no saint. She was also cheating on Dale. Just some extra facts. She also pulled the gun out.

  2. We witnessed abuse from him directed towards her in 2003. He was controlling and abusive. I’d love to know how you know she pulled the gun out when you weren’t there. Quite interesting. As far as her mental issues, she suffered from anxiety and depression. Dale did nothing to help. He made things worse. He extinguished a beautiful light. I don’t see how you can defend him.
