"OCALA, FL - Police have confirmed that the two people found dead inside an apartment Wednesday perished in a murder/suicide, according to the Medical Examiner’s report.
"Officials say the report indicated that Carolyn Moloney’s death was a homicide and that her son Terrence Moloney’s death was a suicide.
"Detectives recovered a revolver in a bedroom where Terrence Moloney’s body was found.
"His mother was found sitting in a chair.
"Both had been shot in the head.
"A feline in the apartment was found dead from a gunshot wound to the face.
"No suicide notes were found inside the two-bedroom apartment at 1633 N.E. 39th Ave.
"Authorities say mother and son went to work on Aug. 20, but never returned afterwards. She worked at Time Customer Service off East Silver Springs Boulevard; he worked at Target off Southwest 19th Avenue Road."
