Two Women Dead In Texas Murder/Suicide

"TYLER, TX – Tyler Police say a woman shot and killed her landlady today before turning the gun on herself on Tuesday.

"The accused gunman died this morning.

"Officials tell us the shooting happened yesterday afternoon at a home on Beverly Street.

"Police say Alice Aguilar shot and killed 70-year-old Socorro Nunez in her home.

"Nunez owned the home, and rented out several rooms as apartments.

"Police say they found Nunez in her room, and Aguilar in the next apartment.

"Witnesses say Aguilar was also apparently going through some medical issues that led to financial trouble.

"They think when Nunez went to collect the rent, the two issues must have been too much for Aguilar, and she shot her friend, then herself.

"Tyler Police are still investigating."
