Bodies Found After Fire
"ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Blair County coroner said Monday that the death of a couple last week was a murder-suicide.
"Coroner Patty Ross said 65-year-old Betsy Aurandt was shot once in the back last Thursday. Her badly burned body was found inside her home.
"Ross said 69-year-old William Aurandt was found dead on a back porch with a gunshot wound to the chest.
"The Aurandts were both retired corrections officers from the Blair County Jail."
