Shooter Hospitalized After Murder, Attempted Suicide

"BETHLEHEM, PA — A Bethlehem woman who worked to build a home for her three sons and supported anti-gang programs in their school was shot to death Tuesday night in her home during a domestic dispute with the man she lived with, sources said.

"Marjorie `Margie` Reyes, 38, of 1501 E. Seventh St. was pronounced dead Tuesday night in the home she helped build in 2004 through the Habitat for Humanity nonprofit housing program for low-income families. Sources said the shooter is Luis Montero, 41, also shot himself and is hospitalized in critical condition. Public records show Montero lived at the home.

"Police have not yet identified the shooter, but said the man who shot himself will be charged with homicide in Reyes' death."
