Pair Found "Suffering Gunshot Wounds"

"LAKE CHARLES, LA — Authorities with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating an apparent murder/suicide Monday morning.

"Deputies were called to the scene on Southernwoods Drive off of LA 397 just after 7 a.m. Monday.

"Sheriff Tony Mancuso confirmed that two people - a male and a female - were found suffering gunshot wounds. An official with the CPSO also said an 11-year-old child found both his mother and her live-in boyfriend."
