"GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL — Two men died Saturday when a love triangle ended in murder-suicide in a Green Cove Springs home, authorities said."Robert Lee Church, 48, was apparently shot about 5 p.m. by the man who had married his ex-wife, said Sgt. Marty Cotchaleovitch of the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Deputies who were called to the scene found the shooter, Gary Ward, 49, had turned the gun on himself and was dead as well.
"Ward had married Nettie Sue Church in 2003 in Middleburg, court records show. She had been married earlier to Church, but they divorced in 1999, records show.
"Cotchaleovitch said Church's former wife had apparently decided Friday to leave Ward. She and Church were in a rental home Church owned on 1624 Warfield Avenue when Ward arrived and fired two shots, he said."
