Pair Hospitalized After Botched Murder/Suicide
"TIFT, GA — Two people are hospitalized with gunshot wounds tonight after a domestic violence shooting an apparent attempted murder/suicide.
"36-year old Darby Hall was shot repeatedly inside her home on Jack Bankston Road in Tift County Friday morning. Amazingly, she survived but is in the hospital. Her former boyfriend, Kyle Larson, shot himself once. He too, remains hospitalized.
"Just a few weeks ago, the two involved in the shooting were enjoying time at the beach, now those same two people are in hospitals, where they are both seriously wounded.
"It was a shocking scene for neighbors to wake up to,`Oh I was real surprised,` said Jimmy Grubbs, who lives nearby.
"What's normally a quiet neighborhood, a section of Jack Bankston Road, was covered with police cars and crime scene tape.
"The Yellow crime scene tape stretched around the home of 36-year old Darby Hall as investigators spent hours collecting evidence in what appears to be an attempted murder suicide..
"Darby Hall's friends say she'd recently broken up with Kyle Larson and he was living and working in Panama City."
