Shooter In Serious Condition After Botched Murder/Suicide
"MIAMI, FL — Police say a man is still alive after he shot and killed his wife in a failed murder-suicide attempt in the couple's North Miami home Thursday night.
"Authorities say the couple's three children were in the home in the 1500 block of Northeast 132nd Road when the shots rang out around 9:30 p.m.
"When officers arrived the husband was still inside the home. He eventually came out and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
"None of the children -- ages 4, 11 and 13 -- were injured. Police said two were in the house and one was on the porch when the shooting began, and one of them may have witnessed the shooting.
"Police haven't identified the couple."
