Unexplained Deaths May Be Murder/Suicide

"HOT SPRING COUNTY, AR — Hot Spring deputies say that in their line of work, there isn’t much that surprises them, but they are calling this case shocking. An internet chat led investigators to the bodies of two young men late Thursday night.

"Deputies say far into the Hot Spring County woods they found the bodies of 20-year-old Clayton Bennett and 21-year-old Christopher Siratt, both with apparent gunshot wounds.

"`It's two unexplained deaths, you know, and we do have reason to suspect suicide was involved. We don't know if it was a suicide pact or murder-suicide. We're trying to uncover as much information as we can,` says Sergeant Jerry McAnear of the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office.

"Investigators can't say exactly what evidence they have, but because there's not much of it, they say finding out what happened somewhere deep in these woods is not going to be easy."
